RIVERRED: Live Album Samples Available

July 11, 2006

Seattle's rock powerhouse RIVERRED, which features former GRUNTRUCK drummer Norman Scott, has finished mixing their forthcoming live album and has made two unmastered tracks available for download:

"In The Now" (mp3)
"Bought The Farm" (mp3)

The album was recorded June 2, 2006 at Studio Seven in Seattle, WA at one of three shows the band played with F5 (featuring ex-MEGADETH bassist Dave Ellefson). Featuring production by up-and-coming Seattle producer Bill Blackstone, the album was co-produced and mix-assisted by RIVERRED mainman James Francis, who had this to say about the live album: "This is a full-meal deal, ProTools recording. Not some sketchy soundboard-to-DAT quickie. We just wanted a way to say thanks to everyone who has supported this band with so much enthusiasm for 'Western Empire' and also as we enter the next phase of RIVERRED."

The as-yet-untitled album's track listing:

01. This Sitaution
02. In The Now
03. Crashed
04. Relent
05. Berlin
06. Bought The Farm
07. Shot In The Head
08. Dogs

The full show will be available to download for free on the band's web site within a matter of weeks following mastering and completion of artwork.

RIVERRED is currently seeking a label home and has begun the writing process for the follow-up album to "Western Empire", which was released independently by the band in early 2006 to much critical acclaim.
